The Student Disability Center at Colorado State University is searching to fill two Accommodation Specialist positions. Accommodation Specialists are responsible for determining appropriate accommodations and other support for students with disabilities. Other support includes, but is not limited to, referrals to campus resources, academic coaching, and assisting students with developing problem-solving strategies. This position acts as an advocate for students with disabilities to ensure they are afforded an equal opportunity to benefit from, and participate in, any program sponsored by the university. As part of the SDC professional staff this position encompasses the role of liaison, active consultant, and representative of the office to other entities on and off campus as well as an active team member with the office and within the CSU community.
