Hello to whom it may concern,

 

We hope this email finds you well!

 

We are reaching out on behalf of the White House Internship Program (WHIP) to inform your organization of our Summer 2023 application period! The White House Internship Program provides undergraduate students, graduate students, and veterans with an opportunity to participate in a leadership development program that supports the mission and values of the Biden-Harris Administration. With our Fall 2022 session, we have welcomed interns onto campus from all across America. As we prepare for our Spring and Summer 2023 sessions, we hope to continue receiving a wide variety of applicants from all backgrounds!

 

Program Specifics

The White House Internship Program is a public service leadership development program that provides emerging leaders with an opportunity to gain valuable skills while supporting the work of the White House and furthering the priorities of the Biden-Harris Administration. Interns in the Program support the White House Office and the Office of the Vice President. 

 

The Program will be hosted in-person on the White House campus beginning Monday, June 12th, 2023 and ending Friday, August 4th, 2023 . Interns are paid at a rate of $750 per week in the form of two stipends – one at the start of the session and one upon successful completion of the program.

 

Website and Application

The application period for Summer 2023 is currently open and will close Friday, December 2nd. Applicants have the opportunity to rank their preferred departments before submitting their application for review.
