The purpose of this position is to coordinate implementation of the Black Youth Mental Health demonstration project, a three-year demonstration project funded by the Office of Minority Health, in collaboration with identified community partners. This position will facilitate an Advisory Council, engage youth most impacted by systemic racism, work with the Advisory Council and Black youth to collectively analyze policies and select priority policies that impact Black youth mental health, community and advisory policy priorities, and work closely with lead partners to coordinate the implementation of up to three policy approaches in three settings (e.g. school, recreation, homes, faith-based, juvenile justice, or other). This position will also contribute to the evaluation led by Minnesota Department of Health Evaluator, create policy briefs (reports), report findings and share results with local and state stakeholders to mobilize and sustain collaborative community change.
