 This position serves as the Assistant Director of the Human Resources division and part of the HR management team. This position will supervise and oversee staff in HR transactions, leave management, benefits, recruitment, selection, classification, compensation and employee relations. This position will provide strategic planning, talent acquisition and HR Business partnership and consultation to MDE leaders. This includes focus on customer satisfaction, process improvement, promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, leveraging best practices, and using data to make informed decisions and recommendations. This position will assist the HR director on labor relations matters and as such, have access to confidential information.
