Seeking part-time Research Assistant

 

Gemini Research and Training LLC, is looking to hire a part-time research
assistant. This person will primarily conduct telephone interviews and
surveys, and will walk participants through a set of open-ended and
close-ended questions. The hours are flexible but many calls will need to be
done during evening and weekend hours. 

 

*	Confidentiality. Research participants are clients of Vocational
Rehabilitation or other programs and so confidentiality must be maintained
by the research assistant. 
*	Proficiency. The Research Assistant must be proficient with filling
out online or computer-based surveys while having a conversation with
research participants. 
*	Personality. The Research Assistant must not be pushy, rude or
demanding and must be able to clearly convey the intent of the phone call
(Note: this is not telemarketing work but rather client satisfaction).
*	Equipment and software. The Research Assistant is expected to have a
good working computer, telephone, and internet connection. Must be
comfortable managing participant lists using Excel.  
*	All surveys conducted by Gemini Research and Training have been
checked for accessibility with screen readers.
*	Compensation. The Research Assistant will be paid between $10 and
$15 per hour for all work time. Timesheets and note keeping will be required
to document work product. 
*	Workload is anticipated to require between 5 and 20 hours per week
*	Timeframe. Work is anticipated to begin October 1, 2022 and will
continue through September 30, 2023 and may be renewed upon mutual
satisfaction of the parties.
