*April 2023 Focus Month - Students*

Focus Months are a monthly celebration of different groups, cultures and
key initiatives within Workforce Staffing. Representation matters and we
are committed to attracting and building more inclusive teams that better
represent our customer base.

April will focus on Students as they wrap up their studies for the summer.
Many students will be looking for work in the coming months which presents
us with an opportunity to engage with schools and provide information about
Amazon job opportunities.

Buffalo Grove High School and District 214 are partnering with Amazon to
get the word out to seniors about summer opportunities. We have resources
to share with  students.

*Amazon Launches English Language Classes for Associates*

Initially launched in 2012 in the U.S., the Career Choice program has seen
more than 130,000 participants explore a range of opportunities, including
starting or returning to school, learning new skills and languages, or
earning industry certifications. And it’s expanding globally. Career Choice
now offers English-language classes in the 14 countries — including the
U.S. and Canada — as well as local language classes in some of those
countries. This expansion is a direct response to the needs and feedback
we’ve heard from Career Choice-eligible associates.
