Currently Looking for an Engineering Project Manager in the Newport News area . This is for an engineer with a solid management track record for large scale projects based on the Penninsula . Requires an engineering degree, P.E ( professional engineering ) license strongly preferred. Managing Projects of large scope required.

Real Estate Manager / Right of way Manager . Working within our engineering department looking not just for a real estate professional but someone who understands some of the intricacies of purchasing property for a public utility, interfacing with internal and community stake holders and purchasing property for a variety of engineering projects. Required BA in Business Administration or related field 5 years experience in real estate property Contracts , contract law etc.

Public Information Specialist Position based on the peninsula Public Relations outreach and communication with citizens , the media, local govenrments, and other community stakeholders. Required Bachelors Degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field.

Plant Operator Several locations this position is an apprenticeship position, Plant operators are in charge of successfully running a waste water treatment plant several locations available. Minimum requirements Highschool Diploma

Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist multiple locations Also an apprenticeship position Requires Associates in Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field provides electrical instrumentation and control for HRSD in the treatment of wastewater.

Interceptor Technician ( Utility Maintenance Technician) Peninsula and Virginia Beach and Norfolk .  Also an apprenticeship position . Is the front lines for support of waste water systems. Works on a crew to provide maintenance and support of pump stations and pipeline responds to emergencies works in a wide variety of conditions. Required High School diploma. Receiving class A CDL within 6 months of hire.

Maintenace Operator several locations. An apprenticeship position that provides maintenance services at a specific treatment site. Requires basic knowledge of tools and Highschool diploma or GED.
