We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Director to lead the agency during a time of considerable growth, while aligning human resources programs and services with department goals, values, and strategies and ensuring the delivery of human resource services meets the demands of business units. The ideal candidate will have skills in relationship building, customer service, and the ability to inspire and lead change across the enterprise.

This position will provide overall leadership, direction and guidance in the development and implementation of a comprehensive human resources delivery program at the department, including recruitment, selection, job evaluation, classification, compensation, benefits, personnel transactions, labor relations, performance management, employee development and training, leave management, workforce planning, employee health and safety, and human resources records management.

This position partners with the director of DEED's Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity (ODEO) to ensure alignment and progress toward statewide and agency diversity and inclusion goals.
