Good afternoon!

I am pleased to announce we are posting the CareerForce Director job.  As you know, Lorrie Janatopoulos retired in April and Mike Lang stepped as the interim Director.  It goes without saying, this is a significant hire for DEED. The CareerForce Director has administrative and operational oversight of 50 Careerforce locations in Minnesota and is a key leader within the workforce development division.  We are seeking an innovative and strategic leader who has a strong understanding of workforce development, solid experience with systems design, operations and administration, and a demonstrated commitment to equity.

The position will be posted through August 10th. We hope to have a CareerForce Director in September. Please contact Marc Majors with any questions about the position and the duties.  We also plan to post the Employment and Training Director position in August.
