Iowa Educational Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired (IESBVI) is looking to fill two important Orientation and Mobility Specialist vacancies: one in Northern Iowa (position based in Fort Dodge, Iowa) and one in Southeastern Iowa (position will be based in Ottumwa, Iowa).

Our model serves Birth to age 21 students with itinerant Orientation and Mobility Specialists who are issued school year contracts of 189 days (your initial contract will be for 194 days to compensate for 5 additional days of onboarding-agency specific training). In this role you will have a state vehicle to drive to and from your visits with students, office space provided in a local Area Education Agency building to foster across agency collaboration, and technology to keep you successful (work iPhone and laptop for each faculty and an iPad if needed for your specific caseload).

Competitive salaries dependent on your level of education and years of teaching/employment in the field. Range: (BA degree - $49,600-$77,000; MA degree - $58,200-$89,800).
