This vacancy is limited to a certain number of applications and may close before the close date listed if that limit is reached.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks:

  *   Respond independently to controlled correspondence and telephone inquiries regarding IDEA implementation by: (1) providing written responses to written and electronic inquiries from parents, advocates, school personnel, legislative offices, and other special education stakeholders; (2) providing immediate technical assistance in response to telephone inquiries; (3) supporting MSIP monitoring teams through the compilation of controlled correspondence data for states being monitored.
  *   Support Customer Service Workgroup Facilitator or ADD in administering the work group. Manage Customer Service Database and produce reports.
  *   Conduct detailed analyses of complex functions and work processes of broad administrative or technical programs and makes recommendations for improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations. Develop new methods, organizational structures, and management processes. Counsel and advise program managers on methods and procedures, management surveys, management reports, and control techniques.
