Overview
E1MN is Minnesota's state agency partnership led by the State of Minnesota Departments of Education (MDE), Employment and Economic Development (DEED), and Human Services (DHS) to advance Employment First outcomes for people with disabilities. This position leads and supports inter-agency collaboration focused on delivering seamless and timely employment supports for youth and adults with disabilities, so they understand their options and get what they need to achieve and maintain competitive integrated employment.

To help manage E1MN inter-agency efforts, each E1MN partner will have a designated E1MN Coordinator to administer E1MN governance structures, help advance E1MN objectives and build coordinated communication, training and guidance that will result in common practices and improved, equitable employment outcomes.

Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  *   E1MN Governance and Administration:  Develop and manage E1MN's governance and administrative structures in strong collaboration with MDE and DEED counterparts to strengthen and advance interagency employment first coordination and impact.
  *   E1MN Engagement and Capacity Building: Coordinate and execute communication, training, outreach, and regional inter-agency activities to help E1MN partners adopt E1MN practices and deliver coordinated, person-centered employment services.
  *   E1MN Project Management:  Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of assigned E1MN projects, quality management strategies, and strategic planning efforts.
