The Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA) is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Director to plan and carry out the office's human resources functions.  OLA is a professional, nonpartisan office in the legislative branch of Minnesota state government.  With a staff of 60+, the office audits state agencies; evaluates state-funded programs; and conducts special reviews and investigations related to alleged misuse of state resources, alleged noncompliance with state laws, or legislative requests.

The HR Director will provide overall leadership, direction, and guidance in the development and implementation of a comprehensive human resources program at OLA, including recruitment, diversity and inclusion strategies, talent identification and selection, job evaluation, classification, compensation, benefits, personnel transactions, employee development and training, leave management, performance management, workforce planning, employee health and safety, and human resources records management, among other things.
