Working collaboratively as part of the Workforce Team within Human Resources Management (HRM), this position will assist in efforts that shape MDH's Human Resources systems, programs, strategies, and resources, in order to transform HR's ability to meet Health's workforce needs, become the career seeker's State agency of choice, and a leading State agency in Human Resources Management.

Working as Workforce Project Coordinator, you will:

  *   Serve as a strategic business partner to hiring managers throughout all of Health's bureaus by participating in workforce planning projects related to the agency-wide programs for:  classification, compensation/rewards/incentives, technical training, employee engagement, recognition programs, resources/tools development, organizational design, pipeline programs, succession planning and/or knowledge transfer.
  *   Assist Workforce Project Managers with large scope project work and initiatives designed to fulfill a wide-range of strategic Human Resources-related duties for the Department of Health (MDH).
  *   Independently manage Workforce projects of small to moderate scope in a deadline-driven and results oriented environment.
