The Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) is seeking to hire a Human Resources Technician 2. OAH is the largest of three Executive Branch Courts with over sixty full-time equivalents located in St. Paul and Duluth. OAH, with 30 judges, is comparable in size to the Ramsey County District Court with 32 judges. OAH has exclusive, trial-level jurisdiction over 200 unique areas of administrative law and workers' compensation. This means the decisions of OAH are appealable to higher-level appellate courts (Minnesota Court of Appeals, Minnesota Supreme Court, and Minnesota Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals) and not at trial-level district courts.

Core responsibilities:

This position will provide technical and administrative support services for the Office of Administrative Hearings human resources unit. This position will provide human resource support in the areas of: HR transaction processing and reporting; benefits and insurance administration; Designated Department Insurance Representative (DDIR); retirement; purchase coordinator; special event planning; limited contract administration/interpretation/support services; FMLA and other leave coordination.



This is a hybrid telework position. OAH requires all employees to work in the office 4 days per pay period.



This will typically require an incumbent in this position to be in the office 2 days per week.
