Intermediate District 287 is looking for Licensed Teachers of the Blind and Visually Impaired (BVI) for our Itinerant Programs for Fall 2025!
Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12, as well as transition age students (18-22 years old), from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs, primarily focused on setting IV special education, that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Salary & Benefits:
* Salary is based on Local 2209 Salary Schedule A: $48,819 - $96,833 (depending on experience and education)

Requirements:
* Interested in candidates who are: diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations.
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
* Current teaching license in Blind and Visually Impaired (BVI), OR a valid license in another subject area & willing to get an Out of Field license
* If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2 Teaching License in BVI
