This position will perform professional level Human Resources work for the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM). This includes providing consultation in the areas of classification, recruitment and selection, compensation, affirmative action, and transactions.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting classification audits and participating in classification studies so that the classification structure of the OCM is consistently and equitably maintained and managed.

Performing full cycle recruitment and selection processes including posting positions, screening candidates, determining compensation and leading the job offer process.

Participating and promoting activities related to Affirmative Action (AA), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) including completing Monitoring the Hiring Process, Pre-Offer Reviews and attending DEI and ACCESS meetings.

Interpreting and guiding staff on collective bargaining agreements, rules, administrative procedures and statutes related to human resources and employment.

This position is located in St. Paul and will have the opportunity to telework from home 2 days per week.
