Our team is growing! The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking additional Classification & Compensation Analysts to join our Human Resources Classification Team. This role supports DHS's classification and compensation systems through job evaluations, strategic consultation, and workforce planning.

You'll be part of a team of skilled analysts and consultants who shape the agency's workforce through thoughtful job evaluation, strategic insight, and classification expertise. In this role, you'll help ensure fair, competitive, and well-aligned job classifications across the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  *   Leading and directing all HR programs, such as recruitment, selection, classification, compensation; and the background check / reference check process;
  *   Labor relations and performance management oversight;
  *   Workforce planning oversight. Training and development, Manage new employee orientation and ongoing employee / supervisor / manager training;
  *   Affirmative Action and ADA coordinator;
  *   Health and Safety contact;
  *   Benefits and leave management administration;
  *   HRIS (SEMA4) transactions oversight;
  *   Workers' compensation administration.
