In this position you will provide HR leadership and contribute to the advancement of the DOC's mission and objectives by performing a variety of advanced professional personnel management functions and services. The position provides HR consultation in support of a Regional Human Resources Director to administer the functional responsibilities of the department. You will serve as a business partner with executive management, directors, supervisors, and managers, outside agency partners and with labor union representatives and leaders.  You will be responsible for consulting, advising, and recommending solutions to employees and management on a range of employee relations matters such as:

  *   Performance management
  *   Labor Relations
  *   Bargaining unit contract, legal, and policy compliance
  *   Conducting investigations and responding to grievances
  *   Developing and leading HR trainings
