Salaries for the AAG positions listed above are set between $83,856 – 157,080 annually. Salary for the Division Chief position is set at $191,352. Salary for the Team Leader (MAAG1) positions are set between $88,056 - $164,940. Salary for the law clerk positions are between $23 - 24.00 an hour. The exact amounts are set in accordance with Appendix B of the AWAAG CBA<https://ofm.wa.gov/hr-policies/labor-relations/collective-bargaining-agreements/washington-federation-of-state-employees-association-of-washington-assistant-attorneys-general-wfse-awaag-2025-27/>.

* Transparent salary schedule - AAG salaries are set between $83,856 – 157,080. Positions located in King County are eligible for 5% King County Assignment Pay.
* The AGO will pay the general bar dues of someone who begins their assignment on or before January 31st per Article 10.8 of the AWAAG CBA<https://ofm.wa.gov/hr-policies/labor-relations/collective-bargaining-agreements/washington-federation-of-state-employees-association-of-washington-assistant-attorneys-general-wfse-awaag-2025-27/>.
