This position provides technical personnel support to the Department of Children, Youth and Families managers, supervisors and employees. Working with oversight from the Transactions Lead and Supervisor, this position will process personnel transactions in the State's personnel/payroll systems (SEMA4), administer FMLA, leave management, and retirement services, including maintaining databases and providing reports.
Responsibilities include:
* Serve as the primary contact for employees, supervisors, and managers seeking information on paid and unpaid leaves of absences, including Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Parental Leave, Medical Leave, and Military Leave, and other statutory or contractual leave provisions.
* Review, research, prepare, and process employee and position data transactions in SEMA4 system and ensure timely and accurate entry in accordance with state and federal laws, collective bargaining agreements, and MMB administrative procedures
* Provide comprehensive personnel support by responding to inquiries and performing technical human resource functions to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant human resources services.
