This position performs professional Human Resources guidance and consultation in the areas of leave management, labor relations, classification, compensation, staffing and selection and strategic recruitment for the Minnesota Veterans Home - Fergus Falls to ensure the requirements of all Home specific goals, personnel statutes, collective bargaining agreements, personnel rules and administrative procedures are met. This position serves as strategic business partner to MVH - Fergus Falls management team.

As an HR Business Partner, you would:

  *   Coordinate and complete full-cycle recruitment and staffing processes in collaboration with hiring supervisors, HR staff and others.
  *   Research, analyze and document requests to establish new positions and re-classify vacant and occupied positions, in accordance with established job classification policies and procedures.
  *   Provide professional-level planning and consultation support related to labor relations functions.
  *   Advise managers, supervisors and employees on a wide range of employment laws and policies to ensure consistency and compliance.
