That's actually what my plan is. I found a good school in AZ that has what
I'm looking for. I have't found any schools in my area that has my degree of
interest.looking to get into media communications. I'm still looking.

Hi ann!

I am glad you are asking questions about journalism schools. I would study
each university's program carefully before you make a decision.

Also, in a previous post, you mentioned that your emphasis is on print
journalism.

Everyone going in to journalism these days, whetehr print or broadcast must
be what I call multi media savvy.
Get comfortable with all sorts of methods for presenting your information.
It could take the form of a blog, tweet or an actual story. Also, the more
you know about web design, audio/video the better.
And, I believe that it is now more crucial than ever for blind people to
keep up with technology, as our world is now being driven by the Internet
and the various communication tools including smart phones, the IPhone and
so forth.

Have a great day all. Sorry to be rather behind with the list, as I have
been on a much-needed vacation.

Take care all.

Liz
