[Journalists] Introduction and Non-Profit Independent News Organization Training Opportunity

Good afternoon:

I am an NFB member in Ohio. I also currently work for an Upstate New York
independent news website where I cover local government meetings virtually.
I joined the NFB's Journalists listserv as I am hoping to connect with
other blind journalists from around the country.

I am also in the process of evaluating the possibility of starting m
own for-profit independent news website. In the course of researching this,
I came across an interesting program offered by the Institute for Nonprofit
News. They offer a training program specifically geared towards helping
independent journalists wanting to start their own non-profit news
organization. The application for the next cohort is in June.  I thought
this might be of interest to other members of the list, so here is a link
