Hi everyone!!
This is a friendly reminder that our next meeting will be this Saturday on June 11, 2022, and held using a hybrid model, with an in-person and a virtual option. The meeting will begin at 10:15 a.m. Please see below for the directions to the Penn Museum and the Zoom lin for the meeting.

At this meeting we will discuss what is going on the national, state, and local levels of the NFB. We will talk about current legislation that will help the blind, discuss fundraising ideas, talk about upcoming events that you will want to be a part of, and share our experiences with one another.

One of those events is our spin fundraiser at the Cycle Bar on June 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. If you would like to join us for this spin bike class, please bring $25 to the meeting on Saturday to reserve your seat. If you prefer to use a paper check, please make it payable to "Keystone Chapter, NFB of PA".

We will also share information about our upcoming National convention this Summer, which will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. The dates for convention this year are July 5, 2022 through July 10, 2022. Lots of details to learn.

Come and learn, share, connect, and help in our movement to make our communities a more equitable place for blind people. Our new meeting location is the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, otherwise known as the Penn Museum. The museum is located at 3260 South Street in Philadelphia. It is accessible by SEPTA. The Penn Medicine Station is directly across the street from the museum and the following regional rail lines stop there, Airport Line, Manayunk/Norristown Line, Media/Elwyn Line, Warminster Line, West Trenton Line, and Wilmington/Newark Line. The following bus routes stop within a few blocks of the museum, 30, 40, 42, and 49. The following trolley lines stop near the museum, 11, 13, 34, and 36. The Market-Frankford line is also an option.
