Hello there Keystone Chapter Members and Friends,

We had a beautiful day to travel to the Penn Museum for our monthly meeting on Saturday. If you couldn’t make it, I hope you were able to be part of the meeting via Zoom. We listened to Presidential Release #521 <https://nfb.org/sites/nfb.org/files/2022-11/presidential_release_live_november_2022_chapter_version_final.mp3>. After the meeting, eight of us enjoyed the weather on our walk to Shake Shack for lunch.

Dancing Dots Presents Believe You Can! 2022 Wrap Up

Lisa and I gave a recap of our 3rd Annual Talent Show. Julia LaGrand from the NFB’s Performing Arts Division took first place, while 2021 winner Jasmine Eiland and Nashville’s Steve Norman tied for second place. The event raised a total of $1960 for the chapter.

Hand-made Ceramic Cups With Braille For Sale

Harriet talked about  of hand-made ceramic cups with tactile braille on them. The sayings on the cups are Live the life you want, Believe you can!, and Blindness is not a barrier. The cups are a grayish blue. The cups are $10 each. There are only a few cups left! 2022 State Convention Bus From Pittsburgh

The Keystone Chapter has chartered a bus for our return from the State Convention in Pittsburgh on 11/13. The bus will leave from the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square at 1.30PM. You can pay via PayPal  with this link: https://py.pl/1s9d8C <https://py.pl/1s9d8C> . The cost is $52.

2023 Membership Dues

We are taking dues payments for 2023. Dues are $10. There are a few ways you can pay. You can give me cash or a check when you see me at a meeting or State Convention.
