Also, if any donations that come in for the chapter that is $250 or more must first come to the affiliate before arriving at the chapter.

That way the donor can receive a tax deductible receipt for their donation since the affiliate is the 501c3 certificate holder.

 

If you want to do sponsors again this year, please check with Emily before approaching them since the affiliate might be contacting a particular organization to sponsor the state convention.

Since the event is primarily for those in the Philadelphia and surrounding area, even though the event is via Zoom, I would recommend acquiring sponsors within the Philadelphia and surrounding areas, but double check with Emily before you contact them.

Our first Believe You Can! 2023 meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 2 at 7PM. If you would like to help, please come to the meeting. We will need help on the tech side, getting talent, and getting the word out. If you have a particular set of skills that can help us do this, please attend.
