Good afternoon everyone,

I hope this email finds you well!

I wanted to share information about the upcoming Acting Without Boundaries
JR. performance happening on Sunday May 19th at 4:00 PM located at
the Agnes Irwin School in Villanova..

Our AWB Junior program will be debuting an original musical, directed and
adapted by my mom, Maria Ceferatti. It's called We Want to Go to School.
It's based on a book by the same name and it is the true story of the
people who helped make every public school a more inclusive place.

In 1971, seven kids and their families knew that every child had a right to
an equal education, so they went to court to fight for that right. The case
Mills v. Board of Education of the District of Columbia led to laws that
ensured children with disabilities would receive a free, appropriate public
education.

Essentially, if it hadn't been for this court case, me and my fellow
disabled colleagues wouldn't have been eligible to attend a regular school
with our non-disabled counterparts.
I know I'm grateful for the education I've received. Help celebrate the
pioneers of the disability-rights movement by supporting the children who
benefited from their efforts!

Open captioning and audio description will be included as part of the
public performance.
I will be featured as a narrator in the show.
