Dear members,
It is with a heavy heart that I must notify you of the passing of our former 1st Vice President Stanley Ingram.Stan had been battling some serious health challenges over the last few years. He put up a good fight, and the Lord called him home today.

Stan first came to the NFB around 1998. He took some time off, and not too long after I became President he and his lovely companion Stacy Shomo came to participate with the chapter again. For a long time Stan served as my 1ST Vice President. He also served as the Fund raising chairperson. He worked tirelessly to make sure that our chapter would be seen as an example for others to follow.

There is so much that I could say about Stan. He is also a former NFB National Scholarship winner.

Please keep our member and Stan’s companion Stacy Shomo in your thoughts and prayers. Stan and Stacy raised several children, and grandchildren together. They certainly found a positive role model in Stan. Also, please keep Stan’s mother, brothers, and other family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

When more information comes to me, I will let you know.I know that Stacy is looking for some calmness right now. Here is her address.

Ms. Stacy Shomo
5828 n. Camac St.
Phila., PA 19141

Sorrowfully Submitted,
Denice Brown - Chapter President
