hi everyone!
Happy August! This Saturday, August 9, 2025 will be our next Keystone Chapter meeting and it will be held using a hybrid model, with an in-person and a virtual option. The meeting will begin at 10:15 a.m. Please see below for the directions to the Penn Museum and the Zoom link for the meeting.

At this month’s meeting, we will talk about the plans for our state convention in November, preparing for upcoming chapter activities, discuss fundraising ideas, talk about ways we can help blind people in our community, our outreach efforts, and how you can get involved and give back.

After our August 9, 2025 meeting we will head over to Sira Green to have our annual chapter picnic. Sira Green is an outdoor green space with lots of fresh air, places to sit and relax, picnic tables, and a burger joint from which to order food. It is located nearby at 30th and Chestnut Streets.

Come and learn, share, connect, and help in our movement to make our communities a more equitable place for blind people. If you have never been to a Keystone Chapter meeting before, or haven't been here in a while, it's never too late to start or to reconnect. We are so excited to see everyone there!

Travel to the Penn Museum via SEPTA
Our meeting location is the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, otherwise known as the Penn Museum. The museum is located at 3260 South Street in Philadelphia. It is accessible by SEPTA. The Penn Medicine Station is directly across the street from the museum and the following regional rail lines stop there, Airport Line, Manayunk/Norristown Line, Media/Elwyn Line, Warminster Line, West Trenton Line, and Wilmington/Newark Line. The following bus routes stop within a few blocks of the museum, 30, 40, 42, and 49. The following trolley lines stop near the museum, 11, 13, 34, and 36. The Market-Frankford line is also an option.
