Hello everybody!
You are invited to the 2025 National Federation of the Blind of
Pennsylvania State Convention taking place from Thursday, November 13
through Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Best Western Premier Hotel in
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
This year’s convention is meaningful as we will celebrate the 85th
anniversary of the National Federation of the Blind, founded on November
16, 1940. Join us for this historic occasion as we honor our legacy,
strengthen our community, and look boldly toward the future.
Expect powerful speakers, educational workshops, valuable resources, and
plenty of opportunities to reconnect and be inspired. Some of our amazing
agenda includes:
- A Senior Possibilities Fair for individuals over 60 who are losing their
eyesight;
- A Technology Seminar geared to learning new and updated assistive
technology, apps, and programs concerning blindness;
- Meetings geared towards blind merchants, blind students, blind parents,
those who are deaf/blind, blind seniors, guide dog users, and parents of
blind children;
- Various workshops and programming geared to letting blind people live the
life they want;
- Multiple business and organizations looking to showcase their products
and services at the exhibit hall;
- and many opportunities to network with blind Pennsylvanians!
Hotel registration is now open! Rooms are available at the rate of $119 per
night (plus taxes and fees). To reserve your room, please contact the Best
Western Premier directly at (717) 561-2800 and mention that you are with
the NFB of Pennsylvania State Convention.
Convention registration information will be released soon, so stay tuned
for updates!
We are also actively seeking exhibitors and sponsors to join us in making
this year’s event a great success. If you or someone you know is interested
in exhibiting or sponsoring the convention, please reach out!
