Hi everyone!
I hope you all are doing wonderful!
This Saturday, April 11, 2026 will be our next Keystone Chapter meeting, and it will be held using a hybrid model, with an in-person and a virtual option. The meeting will begin at 10:15 a.m. Please see below for the directions to the Penn Museum and the Zoom link for the meeting.

At this month’s meeting, we will talk about planning for chapter activities for the year, membership, discuss fundraising ideas, talk about ways we can help blind people in our community, our outreach efforts, and how you can get involved and give back.

Our upcoming fundraiser, Sip, Savor, Support at Landmark Americana is coming up soon! It will be on Tuesday April 28, 2026 all day. You can help and have a good time by stopping by Landmark on 3333 Market Street to grab a bite to eat and a drink. Then present the attached flyer to your server and Landmark will donate 25% of the sale to the Keystone Chapter. It is that simple! So, mark the date on your calendar and grab a bunch of friends, and head over to Landmark!

Other items on the agenda include our trip to the NFB National Center on May 16, 2026; national convention in Austin, Texas; and the Philadelphia Marathon (come to the meeting to learn more about that).

After the meeting everyone is invited to come to lunch with us! We will be going to Founding Fathers Sports Bar and Grill.

Travel to the Penn Museum via SEPTA
Our meeting location is the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, otherwise known as the Penn Museum. The museum is located at 3260 South Street in Philadelphia. It is accessible by SEPTA. The Penn Medicine Station is directly across the street from the museum and the following regional rail lines stop there, Airport Line, Manayunk/Norristown Line, Media/Elwyn Line, Warminster Line, West Trenton Line, and Wilmington/Newark Line. The following bus routes stop within a few blocks of the museum, 30, 40, 42, and 49. The following trolley lines stop near the museum, 11, 13, 34, and 36. The Market-Frankford line is also an option.
