[Massachusetts-NFB] Urgent: Cambridge Chapter Holiday Party Attendee Tested Positive For Covid-19

I do think that if we are choosing as a chapter to get together that privacy should not be an option. We have too many people in our community who are medically compromised and at risk and anyone who was sick when they got there should not even have been allowed to participate. From what I have read in all these emails someone was irresponsible and protecting that person is unconscionable. In all other situations where I have been potentially exposed I knew who the person was so that I could better evaluate how to proceed.
Since this is how the chapter will be treating Covid issues I will not be attending in-person meetings, as I cannot trust that all who attend will act responsibly. I know two people who died because they were exposed to someone with a mild case of Covid, so please think about this when you all meet.
Jeanette

Justin, that is pathetic!
If you're worried about disclosing that via email, you can call us one of the time if you know where that person was sitting next to whom.
It is Christmas time for god sake, and we all getting together with friends and family. It's not fair not to know how exposed you were.
Rashad.

>>> The subject says it all. If you attended the holiday party, and are concerned about contracting and spreading Covid-19, please get tested as soon as possible. For privacy reasons, I am not stating which member tested positive. The attendee is experiencing symptoms similar to a severe cold. The attendee has not needed to go to the hospital. Nevertheless, please keep everyone suffering from the virus in your thoughts in prayers. So far, I know of only one infected attendee, but I will keep you all updated.
>>> Thanks.
