[Massachusetts-NFB] Reminder; Cambridge Chapter meeting and elections, Monday, April 13

Dear Cambridge Chapter Members,

I hope everyone enjoyed state convention as much as I did! I also hope you’ve all been doing well and staying healthy.

This is a friendly reminder that our next Cambridge Chapter meeting will take place on Monday, April 13 at 6:00 PM , held in person at the Citywide Senior Center (806 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, second floor).

Please note that this is an election meeting . In order to vote, members must be present in person —votes will not be accepted from Zoom participants.

All Executive Board positions are up for reelection, including: •   President
   •   Vice President
   •   Secretary
   •   Treasurer
   •   Board Member Liaison These positions are currently held by: •   Shirley Dorris, President
   •   Sengil Inkiala, Vice President
   •   Mika Pyyhkala, Treasurer
   •   Colin Gallagher, Secretary
   •   Jennifer Bose, Board Member Liaison I would be truly honored and proud to continue serving as your President for another two-year term, if you are willing to have me. It has been a privilege to serve in this role during my first term, and I am so grateful for your support, your participation—whether in person or on Zoom—and your involvement in our chapter and affiliate events. Serving you and the National Federation of the Blind of Massachusetts has been an incredible honor.

I’m also excited to share that our chapter continues to grow! I’ve onboarded four new members who attended the state convention: •   Kendall Valentine
   •   Laurie Pellerin
   •   Leicia Chan
   •   Samia Chandler I am also in touch with another prospective member and hope to welcome them soon. While our new members are not yet on this email list, please feel free to reach out and welcome them if you know them.

I will send out the meeting agenda and Zoom link over the weekend.
