[MD-AtLarge] Minutes and Meeting Reminder

Hello all,
 
The next meeting of the NFBMD At-Large Chapter will be on Tuesday, July 19.
The National President's Message begins at 7:30 followed by the meeting at
8:00 pm.  Read the minutes from the June 21 meeting below.
 
At Large Meeting. 
June 21, 2016. 
Meeting started at 8:04 PM. 
Approximately 15 members attending the meeting.
 
Maryland's State convention will be October 28th through October 30th in
Baltimore at the Marriott at Camden Yards.  It will be the 50th anniversary.
 
Raising Money for Chapter given by Sharon.
Movie & discussion fund raiser idea presented.
Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the National Center.
$10 fee, possible 50/50 raffle. 
Time:  1:30 to 5:30 PM. 
Doors open at 1:30 PM. 
 
Motion to have the movie event fundraiser made by Danielle Earl and seconded
by Luzanne. 
Motion Passed. 
 
Apps - Vorail, Tap Tap C, & Apoly Low Vision. 
 
Charles and Marguerite speaking about the reading and touch tour by Every
Man Theater. 
Play called A Street Car Named Desire.
 
Marla talks about the article titled Reflections of a Lifetime Reader and
Library Maven written by Marc Maurer in the June 2016 Braille monitor. 
 
Sandra teaches Braille at the Library for the Blind in Baltimore MD. 
 
Meeting adjourned at 9:03.
