Hello all,

Since this is graduation season, it is most appropriate that during the week
of May 15-19 we work on getting co-sponsors for the Accessible Instructional
Materials in Higher Education (Aim High) Act. This bill will lessen the
struggle for future students when they go through college, by making sure
that they have accessible materials. Please email or call your Congressman
and ask them to co-sponsor HR 1772. Have your Congressman contact the office
of Congressman Joe Courtney, the lead Democratic sponsor of this bill.
Maryland has no co-sponsors yet, let's change this situation, so that blind
students can be successful in college and beyond.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
