Hello all,
Please read the below announcement. Get in touch with the people mentioned.
This is a great opportunity to develop or renew hobbies.
The NFB Krafters Division is excited to be celebrating 10 years of crafting
blind. Celebrate with us by spreading the word.
Email List
Join our email list to meet blind crafters from all over the world and learn
how we manage our crafts.
Telephone Classes
Classes are taught via the telephone using a conference call-in number (and
Skype). The classes are all taught from a blind perspective and most
teachers are blind.
Email Classes
Classes taught via an email list so that we can accommodate members that
live across the globe and make it difficult for them to attend phone
classes. Teachers choose whether they teach via phone or email.
Monday Night Chats
These chats are open to everyone and have a range of topics. We meet on most
Monday Nights via a telephone conference and cover things like a simple
craft, an over-view of a craft so that members have a better idea if they
would like to take a class on that craft, crafting traditions around the
globe, and even some technical chats to help members learn how to use things
crafting apps or even BARD and how to find crafting books.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
