Hello all,
We need to get the amended scooter bill out of the Senate Finance committee.
Please call or email the following Senators, tomorrow March 19 and ask them
to vote in favor of the amended SB805/HB1243. This bill require e-scooter
companies to place a tactile, embossed printing on each scooter, so that
blind people can contact the appropriate company when a scooter is impeding
pedestrian access.
Everyone should email or call Senator Delores Kelley, Chairman of the Senate
Finance Committee. The phone number is either 410-841 plus extension or
301-858 plus extension. The extension for Senator Kelley is 3606. The email
address for all Senators is firstname.lastname at senate.state.md.us
