Constitution, and a Chapter Constitution. The state and chapter constitution
can be found on the NFB MD website and the National constitution can be

The members discussed an article written by Peggy Chung called Blind Jim.
A moment of silence was taken for Larry Richardson and Rachael Olivera who
passed away in the last couple of weeks.
Update on Legislation was given:
1. First hearing about voting with one system took place in Annapolis and
they understood the message that the NFB MD brought to the hearing on this
matter
2. Washington Seminar took place at the end of January. Maryland had a
reception and Senator Van Hollen and Congressman Sarbanes attended.
Ronza gave a few words during this call. She is the president of the state
of Maryland.
Tonight's guest speaker is Clifford Williams from the Virgin Islands. He
spoke about how attitude is your key to success. He spoke about his training
that he received from Blind Industries and Services of Maryland. It was a
very powerful speech.

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is not
the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
