[MD-AtLarge] Meeting Reminder and Minutes

Hello All,

The next meeting of the NFBMD At-Large chapter will be tomorrow, November
18th at 7:30 pm. We will hear from the National president and we will
discuss with Jerry Price holiday technology wants. Jerry has great ideas on
what you can suggest somebody give you, or things you can buy for yourself.

might miss the opportunity to find out about the greatest technology coming

NFBMD At Large Chapter Meeting Minutes for October 21, 2025



The presidential Release was played at 7:30 PM.

The meeting started at 8:00 PM, by Marguerite Woods.

The round robin took place. Everyone announced themselves, stated where
they are in the state, and answered the question do you find telehealth
valuable?

There were approximately 25 members on the call.

Charles led Harvey to the NFB pledge.



Tonight’s guest speakers are Qualik Ford and Anil Lewis. Qualik is the
President of the Maryland Association of Blind Students, and Anil is the
director of Strategic Initiatives for the National Federation of the Blind.
Qualik told us about his story and how the NFB played a part in his life.
Anil shared his story and how the NFB helped him. They also talked about
Blindness Equality Achievement month.



The meeting adjourned at 9:06 PM.
