[MD-AtLarge] Challenge for Marilyn members

Friends, it occurs to me that it has been several years since we have brought home the Pack rat which is the critter given to the affiliate that has the most activity at national convention around joining or increasing PAC or pre-authorized contributions. We are the affiliate by far that contributes the most each month, and so I’m going to challenge you however to consider giving a little more. You can increase your monthly contribution by one dollar or more if you so choose, and you can enroll for as little as five dollars a month. As of today we were not in the top three and we really should be. Those who are participating virtually and those in person will have their contributions considered as part of the Pack rat contest.

This money helps our national organization run programs from which we, our members, and our community benefit.


Earlier today President Riccobono announced that I was urging the Maryland delegation to get back to the table and either enroll or increase your contributions. The first 15 people who visited me at the Maryland flag would receive a token. I still have quite a few tokens I have not given out, so I urge you to take care of this business and then come see me during the Wednesday general session. I will also figure out how to acknowledge those of you who are taking care of this remotely. Those folks can send me a text once they enroll or increase their monthly contributions.


Those in person can visit the PAC table at the back of the room, and those who are participating virtually and those who just don’t want to walk back to the back of the room can also use the online portal located at https://nfb.org/pac
