Calcium and vitamin D are critical nutrients to build and maintain
strong bones throughout life. There are many other nutrients necessary
for healthy bones that are available by eating nutrient-rich foods that
include plenty of fruits and vegetables. This session will teach you
about the food choices you can make to meet the nutritional needs for
optimal bone health. You will also learn about foods and nutrients that
you should consume in moderation and when to consider taking supplements
to benefit your bones.

Learning objectives:

*	Attendees will gain a basic understanding of the nutrients that
are important for healthy bones
*	Attendees will learn which foods they can eat to optimize bone
health
*	Attendees will learn which foods to avoid or consume in
moderation
*	Attendees will learn when supplements are necessary or
appropriate for bone health
