Independence Now along with the Montgomery County Commission on People
with Disabilities and Prince Georges Commission on Individuals with
Disabilities are jointly hosting a disability conference on October 23,
2012 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Building located at One
Veterans Plaza or 8525 Fenton Street targeted mainly for consumers and
those who support people with disabilities.

1:15-2:45 Getting what you need! - A lack of affordable,
accessible, integrated housing is a major
problem in the Metro area. Learn how to get
involved and advocate for more housing.
2:45-3:00 Break
3:00-4:00 The Quiet Revolution Continues: Minorities in
