Low Vision Independence Through Arts & Culture Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library Room 215 Adaptive Services Wednesday, June 12, 11am - 1pm What Art Form Makes You Happy?

This meeting will have two parts. The first one will be a brief visit from Kathy Gosselin, Administrator of NFB Newsline for D.C. Kathy will tell us what Newsline is and a little about how to use it. Anyone registered with the Library for the Blind is eligible for Newsline, and Kathy's presentation will be valuable for Maryland and Virginia residents, as well as those in D.C.

Over lunch we will discuss What Art Form Makes You Happy? Participants will share their favorite art form, examples encouraged. This may be an art form you create, or appreciate of someone else's creations.

Co-sponsored by Prevention of Blindness of Metropolitan Washington, this group meets monthly over a light lunch. Please call 202-727-2142 to register or 202-234-1010 for additional information.
