This free public health education program will include cutting-edge
information on the recently released results of the 5 year National Eye
Institute/NIH eye supplement research Age-Related Eye Disease
Study(AREDS-2).   

 

This program is designed to appeal to people from age
50 to 80 & beyond!   Richard Garfinkel, MD, retinal surgeon & former
medical advisor to the Macular Degeneration Network of the Prevention
of Blindness Society will also discuss the most current
research/information on retinal tears, vitreous detachments, floaters &
flashes, as well as the leading cause of severe vision loss in people
over 50: Age-Related Macular Degeneration.  There is FREE PARKING on
the rear deck of the Courtyard by Marriott, located on The Hills Plaza.
