Mid-Maryland Mission of Mercy and Health Equity Festival Will Offer FREE
Dental Care

 As part of the Mid-Maryland Mission of Mercy and Health Equity
Festival, a mobile dental clinic will provide free services at the
XFINITY Center at University of Maryland, College Park on September 5th
and 6th. The clinic will be open to adult patients from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
on a first come, first served basis,

Licensed dentists and other health clinicians will provide dental
assessments and offer services such as cleanings, fillings extractions
and root canals. Organizers hope to serve 1,000 patients and offer $1
million worth of free dental care. The mobile dental clinic at
University of Maryland will feature 18 exhibits and will offer
wraparound services to help educate consumers and encourage them to take
control of their own health. More than 800 volunteers have been
recruited.
