Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind is pleased to announce "ClickAndGo DC Metro," a free app that includes over 110 routes in and around the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro station and virtual tours of 11 stations.  This new personal navigation app is the first of its kind in any public transit system in the United States, and it delivers 2 completely unique features.

First, ClickAndGo offers seamless outdoor to indoor customized walking directions. A traveler can receive directions from a city bus stop into a subway station and then directly to the desired subway platform. Second, it offers pedestrians who are blind or visually impaired a pre-journey exploration and learning option, allowing them to become familiar with any walking route or virtual tour before leaving their homes.

Jewish Council for the Aging (JCA) offers a County-funded escorted transportation program for eligible low-income residents of Montgomery County.
