[Md-sligo] Braille Celebration and January Chapter Meeting

Debbie is still out of town, but will be back shortly.
Our next chapter meeting will be on January 14, 1:30 PM, at the Long Branch 
Library in Takoma Park.
But before that, we have a celebration of Braille at the Rockville Library 
on Sunday, January 8. Setup begins at 1 PM and the program is from about 
2:00 to 3:30. jSome of the activities will depend on who makes it to the 
celebration; we want it to partly be a demonstration and discussion of what 
blind people can do, whether this involves Braille or other alternative 
techniques. I am attaching two versions of the flyer; I think the content 
and layout of both versions are the same. If you can think of anyone who you 
would like to attend, please e-mail or print this information. If we are 
going to do this celebration year after year, we need willing hands, minds 
and voices. This event is cosponsored by the disability resource center of 
the Montgomery County Public Libraries.
