[Md-sligo] election issues

Hello Yasmin,

I did vote. The voting process had only one problem for me. I did not move
my finger down far enough and voted for one person I did not intend to vote
for. That is, I pressed the "vote" key instead of going down to the "next
name" key. I continued until I reached the end of that list of delegates to
the convention. I went back to the list, but I could not remember any
instruction for correcting, changing a wrong vote. 	 I stayed in my
chair and raised my hand, and presently one of the judges came and asked if
I had a problem. I said that I wanted to correct an incorrect vote, and the
judge told me the key strokes I needed to make the erasure and correction. I
did as instructed and made the correction. I do not remember that any
instructions were given for the correcting key strokes.I do not know how
the judge knew what the proper key sttrokes were, but in the end things went
all right. I think that specific verbal instructions should have been
included so that I could have made the correction without assistance. 

I voted in precinct 1 at Leisure World

     In my opinion the key pad was a bit too unnecessarily complicated, but
I did get through

Dear chapter members, 

At the chapter meeting I forgot to ask you a very important question. We
would like to know if you voted in the primary elections in Maryland and if
you had any problems before during and after the voting process at your
polling place. 

This is not the survey which we completed for the National office. I am
working with the Montgomery county board of elections to raise these issues
and bring solutions to such matter. 

I have asked our friend Dr. Zelaya and he will take individual
complaints/concerns from us. So far I have send him 3 such concerns. I will
need your name and the location of your polling place. 

When the Board starts training the trainers in preparation for the general
elections I will participate in such session. 

Send me your information and I will pass them to Dr. Zelaya. 

You can always call him and leave a message at 240-777-8532. 

Just mention the NFB for him to pile them for review.
