Improving Employment Outcomes In the Blind and Visually Impaired Community

As a reminder, Métier Services Inc. will be hosting our second Community Forum on November 2nd. It has come to our attention that many of you may not have received the original Community Forum invitation. As such, I wanted to follow up to ask that you please join us as we host a moderated panel discussion to increase dialogue, learning and co-create action towards increasing employment within the Blind and Visually Impaired Community.

We are excited to announce the panel members who will be joining us in our discussion. The panelists are:

·         Billy Parker, Program Director, Employment Support Services, National Industries of the Blind
·         Tony Stephens, Director of Advocacy and Governmental Affairs, American Council of the Blind
·         Anil Lewis, Executive Director, NFB Jernigan Institute
·         Karla Gilbride, Cartwright-Baron Staff Attorney at Public Justice
·         Kim Arrington, Senior Diversity Officer - Disability Recruitment / Summer College Internship Co-Program Lead, WMATA
